The Dallas Foundation begins Racial Equity grant cycle

Written by Mindia Whittier

Grant investments will be informed by a diverse fund advisory committee reflective of the Dallas community.

The Dallas Foundation’s 2022 Racial Equity Fund is now accepting grant applications.

The Racial Equity Fund will help advance equity for Dallas’ BIPOC residents by strategically and purposefully directing philanthropic dollars to support organizations that combat systemic inequities. Grants will be awarded to organizations working within the areas of housing and infrastructure, economic empowerment, education and workforce, criminal justice and civic participation, and health and wellness.

The Dallas Foundation hosted a webinar for potential grantees to offer an overview of the fund and guidance on the process for submitting a grant application. A video of the presentation can be viewed online.

Applications must be submitted by April 30 via the Foundation’s online grants portal.
