Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame announces 2019 inductees

The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame has announced its 2019 inductees. They include: Dr. Glenn Blodgett, The Cavender Family, Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, King Ranch and Rick Smith Spirit of Texas recipient, Robert Earl Keen. The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame honors those who have shown excellence in competition, business and support of rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas.

post on Cavendar’s  Facebook page showed a picture of four members of the family (below) with the following caption:

“We are excited to congratulate The Cavender Family for their induction into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame! The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame recognizes the remarkable stories of those with deep roots in western heritage and our family is humbled to receive this honor.

Hats off to fellow inductees: Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, King Ranch, Robert Earl Keen and Dr. Glenn Blodgett.

The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District on Thursday, January 17. The Induction Ceremony also acts as the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year. Tickets for the event are $150.
