December 2018 – The Texas Council for Development Disabilities (TCDD) recently awarded an Outreach and Development grant to the Hatching Hope Foundation (HHF). With this grant, HHF will develop programs and initiatives to increase access to autism services for underserved communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
HHF was established to educate caregivers and empower families affected by autism. The organization’s mission is to address the shortage of education, advocacy and care associated with autism through educational workshops, community events and family support services.
TCDD’s Outreach and Development grants are intended to help small grassroots organizations become more established to support people with disabilities in their communities. Through these grant projects, organizations connect with – and support – traditionally under-represented or underserved populations.
