Texas Coalition for Animal Protection expanding North Dallas clinic hours

To serve more pets in the North Dallas community, Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) is expanding its Allen clinic hours to provide low-cost vaccines and wellness services on Thursdays.

Texas Coalition for Animal Protection is a nonprofit organization committed to providing high-quality, low-cost veterinary services to underserved communities. With a focus on spay/neuter surgeries and preventive care, TCAP seeks to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare across Texas. Through its eight North Texas locations, more than 40 offsite travel locations, and educational initiatives, TCAP strives to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of animals and those who love them.

Pet parents can bring their cat or dog from 9 a.m. to noon for services like $5 rabies vaccines or full-set of annual vaccines for a cat or dog for $25.

“We hope by expanding our hours, we will be able to service more pets in need throughout the Allen area,” said Stacey Schumacher, TCAP Executive Director. “With inflation high and everyone looking for creative ways to stretch their budget, we hope to be a resource to the community to do just that.”

In addition to low-cost vaccines, the nonprofit provides microchipping, flea/tick prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and more — ensuring that pet owners can access crucial care for their fur family at affordable prices. While vaccinations and wellness services at TCAP are offered on a walk-in basis, spays, neuters, and low-cost dental cleanings require an appointment.

TCAP’s Allen clinic is located at 111 N Greenville Ave. Suite A. For more information about TCAP and its services, please visit texasforthem.org or call 940-566-5551.
