    Tarrant To & Through Partnership announces the promotion of Regina Williams, LMSW to Chief Operating Officer. Since joining T3 in 2025 as Vice President of Program Operations, Regina has played a critical role in strengthening their organization, guiding strategic initiatives, and advancing opportunities for students and families across Tarrant County. 

    Allison Payne has accepted an offer for the role of Grants Manger at Gladney! She looks forward to advancing their mission of creating bright futures through adoption, and working with such an amazing team of passionate professionals.

    Rick Schornack, founder and former President and Chairman of Lockton Companies of Dallas, was elected as Board Chair for the North Texas Chapter of Folds of Honor. 

    After an incredible chapter with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Kathryn Duncan is excited to share that she has accepted the position of Development Manager of Events at Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep.

    Brooke Traylor joined the Camp Fire First Texas team as a Marketing Content & Design Specialist.

    Folds of Honor opens scholarship application for children and spouses of fallen or disabled service members and first responders

    Folds of Honor – North Texas announced the opening of its scholarship application window on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST. Scholarships from the organization provide educational support to children and spouses of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. The application period remains open until March 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST. All applications must be submitted through the Folds of Honor online portal. 

    Scholarship Timeline and Eligibility:

    • Application opens: February 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST
    • Application deadline: March 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EST
    • Who is eligible: Children and spouses of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders
    • Scholarship levels: Kindergarten through 12th grade and higher education
    • Scholarship categories: Military Scholarships and First Responder Scholarships
    • How to apply: Online through the Folds of Honor application portal

    The Folds of Honor scholarship program is designed to honor the extraordinary sacrifices made by military and first responder families by helping ensure access to quality education. Scholarships support students from early education through postsecondary studies, easing the financial burden for families who have given so much in service to others.

    Eligible applicants include the children and spouses of U.S. service members and first responders who have fallen or become disabled in the line of duty.

    “Honoring the families of our nation’s military members and first responders is a responsibility we all share,” said Sarah Elliott, Senior Director of Impact for Folds of Honor North Texas. “At Folds of Honor, we are committed to standing beside these families by helping ensure access to education, creating lasting opportunities that honor their sacrifice and service.”

    Folds of Honor North Texas raised $4.6 million at its 2025 gala to fund educational scholarships for the spouses and dependents of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders. In recent years, the organization has expanded its mission to include the families of fallen and disabled first responders, broadening its commitment to honor those who serve and protect our country and communities.

  • Folds of Honor announces $1M donor

    Folds of Honor North Texas announced that McLane Company Inc. reached $1 million in cumulative donations at the North Texas Golf Classic on Monday, May 21, 2025. 

    Since 2016, with the support of its customers, vendors, suppliers and teammates, McLane has contributed over $1 million in financial support to Folds of Honor North Texas. This is the result of donations made over the years through various philanthropic events and activities. The recent North Texas Golf Classic marked the crowning achievement for McLane, who served as title sponsor for the event.

    “We are incredibly grateful to McLane for reaching $1 million in donations to Folds of Honor North Texas,” said Mike Beltz, Board Chair for the Folds of Honor North Texas chapter. “Through McLane’s generosity, we have been able to provide 200 scholarships for spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and first responders, giving them the opportunity to pursue higher education, build brighter futures, and honor the legacies of those who serve our nation.” 

    McLane has partnered with Folds of Honor North Texas for nine years, providing educational scholarship support for private school tuition or tutoring in grades K-12, tuition for college, technical or trade school and post-graduate work, including a master’s degree, doctorate, or professional program. 

    “McLane is proud to support Folds of Honor and its important mission to honor the sacrifices and support the education of our nation’s heroes’ legacy,” said Susan Adzick, president, McLane Restaurant. “This milestone reflects the collaboration and generosity of our teammates and partners. We look forward to continuing our meaningful and impactful partnership in the years to come.”

    Since its founding in 2007, Folds of Honor North Texas has awarded over 62,000 scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen or disabled service members. In recent years, the program has also expanded to support the families of fallen and disabled first responders, further broadening its mission to recognize all who serve our country and communities.
