T3 Partnership announces new education advisor

Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership today announced Dr. David Saenz, Ed.D., will serve as T3’s new senior education advisor, where he will provide innovative leadership and strategic counsel in partnership with the Mayor’s Council on Education & Workforce Development and apply his expertise to expand program and pathway offerings for students.

Dr. Saenz is a founding board member of T3 and has worked closely with Mayor Mattie Parker and the Mayor’s Council on supporting public education in Tarrant County, ensuring students have pathways to career exploration and success. In collaboration with the Mayor’s Council, he will help advance education initiatives to increase enrollment and broaden opportunities in ECHS, PTECH, CTE and Dual Credit programs, as well as support College and Career Readiness goals of area school districts.

“T3 opens doors for opportunity and creates a village of community support to help our students succeed,” said Dr. Saenz. “I’m looking forward to my expanded role within the Fort Worth region, further building on the opportunities for students across Tarrant County and strengthening our community in the long run.”

Dr. Saenz has worked in public education for 22 years across Tarrant and Dallas Counties, including 10 years with Fort Worth ISD, where he most recently served as Chief – Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. His work at T3 will focus on meeting students and districts where they are to promote positive academic outcomes and ensure every student has the opportunity to be successful, regardless of their background.

“Dr. Saenz has been a champion of and asset to T3 since our founding, bringing a unique perspective on education and strong relationships with community leaders to benefit our students,” said Natalie Young Williams, Executive Director of T3. “We are thrilled to officially welcome him to the team and work together to strengthen these partnerships and unlock even more opportunities for students across Tarrant County.”

This advisory position with T3 was made possible through generous funding support from the Sid W. Richardson Foundation.
