Speedway Children’s Charities to host Laps for Charity on May 19

Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway announced it will host an event on May 19 where guests can pay to drive their personal vehicle around the 1.5-mile speedway oval at Texas Motor Speedway. All proceeds will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. After driving their cars, guests can take photos in Victory Lane.

Laps for Charity is an annual event hosted by the organization as a fundraiser. Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway has donated more than $10 million in funding to non-profit organizations in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties supporting children in need since 1997.

For $40 you can take 3 laps around the track, get one Laps for Charity t-shirt, and then go enjoy our car show, live music, food and beverages!

Price will increase to $50 the day of the event and additional sets of laps are $30 each.

Photos in Victory Lane will be $10 and any additional t-shirt purchases will be $15.

ABOUT SPEEDWAY CHILDREN’S CHARITIES AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Since 1997, Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway has distributed more than $10 million in funding to non-profit organizations in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties supporting children in need. The funds distributed by Speedway Children’s Charities are raised through special events held throughout the year. Most of Speedway Children’s Charities events are geared around the three major race weeks at Texas Motor Speedway.

Speedway Children’s Charities could fill the grandstands at Texas Motor Speedway 16 times with the number of children we have helped since 1997.  Our reach is far, and the dollars we raise go to directly helping children in our community. Find out more on the organization’s website.
