Funding Opportunities

Rees-Jones Foundation offers child and family grants

The private Foundation was established in 2006 to improve quality of life in tangible ways.

The Rees-Jones Foundation partners with North Texas nonprofits that improve quality of life for children, youth and families in six main areas of giving.

Organizations that defend child welfare, address mental health challenges, support youth enrichment opportunities, encourage healthy families, assist children with disabilities and promote the human treatment of companion animals can be considered for funding.

Grant proposals will be considered for general operating expenses, requests for specific programs or projects, and capital requests. The Foundation will not fund more than 25% of a project’s budget or more than 10% of an organization’s total annual operating budget. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and should be submitted at least four months before funding is needed.

New applicants should submit a letter of inquiry to see if their organization might be a fit for funding. More information is available online. The Foundation accepts grant applications through an online portal.
