Plano-based Zoës Kitchen’s holiday gift-card program will benefit No Kid Hungry

Zoës Kitchen (NYSE:ZOES), a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant group based in Plano, yesterday announced its holiday gift-card program will benefit No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit organization that aims to end childhood hunger in America. For every $25 gift card sold now through Dec. 31, Zoës Kitchen will donate enough for No Kid Hungry to connect kids in need to 25 nutritious meals.

“Thirteen million kids across the United States struggle with hunger,” stated Diana Hovey, senior vice president at No Kid Hungry, in a press release. “We are excited to be partnering with Zoës Kitchen to help make the year ahead a little brighter for these children and their families.”

The holiday gift cards can be purchased in any Zoës Kitchen restaurant or at zoeskitchen.com and will feature unique artwork designed by children. In addition to benefiting No Kid Hungry, guests will receive a $5 bonus gift card to redeem in January for every $25 gift card purchased.

“At Zoës Kitchen we are deeply devoted to delivering goodness to the communities we serve through our fresh, better-for-you food, our gracious hospitality, and by supporting those in need,” stated Casey Shilling, chief marketing officer.

Zoës Kitchen has 242 locations in 20 states across the United States.
