NTCF racial equity grant cycle now open

More than $500K was awarded in the previous FARE grant cycle.

North Texas Community Foundation is seeking grant proposals from nonprofit organizations and municipal entities working to achieve a more equitable community for all.

Grants made from the Fund to Advance Racial Equity (FARE) will drive changes in practice – systemic, institutional and individual – to eliminate racial bias and discrimination that will ultimately lead to more equitable outcomes.

Nonprofits and municipal entities in Fort Worth and Arlington are eligible to apply. FARE grants will prioritize support to organizations working to strengthen the community in one or more of the following areas:

  • Build understanding between racially diverse groups
  • Support community leadership that advances diverse perspectives
  • Increase trust between residents and law enforcement

Letters of intent are due March 23 and the proposal deadline is April 22. Award notifications will be made May 31.  The RFP is available to view online.
