Summary: The Food for Progress Program provides for the donation of U.S. agricultural commodities to developing countries and emerging democracies committed to introducing and expanding free enterprise in the agricultural sector. The commodities are generally sold on the local market, and the proceeds are used to support agricultural development activities.

Funding for Public Impact Projects

  • Funder: National Endowment for the Humanities
  • Due date: July 9, 2025
  • Expected number of awards: 40
  • Award range: $200,000
  • Cost sharing required? No
  • Eligibility: nonprofits, institutions of higher education, and county, state, city, tribal, and special district governments.

Summary: Funding is for the Public Impact Projects Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary program. This program supports cultural organizations in creating and developing scholarship-based public programs that celebrate the people, events, ideas, and legacies related to the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
