Funding for Conservation of Plant and Animal Species

  • Funder: Fish and Wildlife Service
  • Award range: up to $200,000
  • Closing date: June 20, 2025
  • Expected number of awards: 30
  • Cost sharing required? No
  • Eligibility: Federally recognized tribal governments

Summary: Funding from this program will support conservation of any plant or animal species of interest to a Tribe, including those of Native American cultural or traditional importance.

Funding for Safe Streets

  • Funder: Department of Transportation
  • Award range: up to $25M
  • Closing date: June 26, 2025
  • Expected number of awards: 500
  • Cost sharing required? Yes
  • Eligibility: Independent school districts, institutions of higher education, and city, special district, county, and tribal governments.

Summary: Grants will support planning and demonstration activities, as well as projects and strategies to prevent death and serious injury on roads and streets involving roadway users.
