Mobile Food Banks Bring Fresh Foods to Dallas Food Deserts

WFAA reports that the North Texas Food Bank, located in Dallas, and Catholic Charities of Dallas and have partnered to create a Mobile Community Pantry.

The program will utilize two trucks to bring fresh produce, meats, dairy products and other groceries to residents in Dallas. The Mobile Community Pantry will serve neighborhoods without access to nearby grocery stores.
