The organization works with school districts, libraries, and other nonprofits to serve the needs of all girls in the community.

Girls Inc. of Tarrant County has selected a new Chief Operating Officer.

Suzana Delgado-Gray joins the agency with more than 25 years of experience in providing strategic leadership to organizations and teams. Most recently, she served as VP of Operations with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Delgado-Gray has also served in Administration for Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) and was a Dean of Students at Fort Worth Country Day School.

Girls Inc. of Tarrant County advocates for girls and their futures, reducing barriers in their lives that stem from violence, poverty, and inequity. The agency’s programs encourage health, education, career readiness, and independence. Its combination of mentoring relationships, a pro-girl culture, and research-based programming equip girls to be healthy, educated, and empowered.

A Fort Worth native and a product of FWISD, Delgado-Gray graduated from Texas Christian University. In her new role, she will support families served in the Tarrant County Kids childcare programs and the mission of Girls Inc.
