Fort Worth Nonprofit Restaurant Earns “Must Try” Designation

Fort Worth Business Press reports Fort Worth’s nonprofit restaurant, Taste Community Restaurant, has earned national status of “must try this year” in Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat for 2019.

Taste Community Restaurant is the first project of the Taste Project organization designed to help feed, educate, and serve Tarrant County’s food insecure population, a total of 16.6 percent of Tarrant County’s overall community.

Their menu doesn’t include prices and customers are asked to do one of the following:

  1. Pay what they can afford,
  2. Pay what they would typically pay,
  3. Pay what they would typically pay plus a little extra.

Taste Project’s Taste Community Restaurant is located at 1200 South Main Street and is open for lunch from 11 am – 2 pm, Tuesdays – Sundays (closed on Mondays).
