Fidelity Charitable Sued over Handling of Donation

The New York Times reports a couple from California is suing Fidelity Charitable for mishandling their $100 million donation. The couple utilized a donor-advised fund (DAF) which is a popular charitable method.

The lawsuit alleges Fidelity Charitable made promises on how the donation, which included shares of stock, would be managed.
