Here are two of the latest Federal RFP’s:

Up to $2.5M for eviction protection

  • FUNDER: Department of Housing and Urban Development
  • AWARD AMOUNT: $500K-$2.5M
  • Anticipated # of awards: 25
  • DEADLINE TO APPLY: August 20, 2024
  • Who is eligible: Applicants must have at least 3 years experience providing legal assistance to low-income individuals via in-house staff, volunteers, contractors, or consultants. Nonprofits, tribal organizations, institutions of higher education, and city, state, county, and tribal governments may apply.
  • Match required? No

SUMMARY: This RFP provides funding to organizations to provide no-cost legal assistance to low-income tenants at risk or subject to eviction. Additionally, funding will support the expansion of the evidence base around eviction prevention and diversion programming.

  • FUNDER: Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime
  • AWARD AMOUNT: Up to $500K
  • Anticipated # of awards: 5
  • DEADLINE TO APPLY: July 15, 2024
  • Who is eligible: Nonprofits, tribal organizations, and small businesses
  • Match required? No

SUMMARY: This RFP is to support the expansion of access to services for victims of crime, especially in underserved communities. This solicitation encourages applicants to partner with nontraditional partners not typically associated with the victim services field.
