SUMMARY:Every Child | Every Chance - Wellness and Wellbeing in Child Welfare
DESCRIPTION:This one-day summit is dedicated to promoting wellness and wellbeing for children in the Texas child welfare system. The event will focus on actionable strategies and collaborative approaches to support child and adolescent mental health\, care for caregivers (e.g. foster and kinship providers\, case workers) and advance policy and cross-sector partnerships. The program is designed for case workers\, CPA staff\, CASA volunteers and staff\, healthcare professionals\, and policy makers. Through breakout sessions and roundtable discussions which include the perspectives of those with lived experience\, participants will leave with renewed insight and tools to help every child thrive. CEUs will be offered.
