Strike Out Pediatric Leukemia Charity Baseball Game to Knock It Out of the Park May 22 at Riders Field in Frisco
May 22, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$25Baseball is Jordan Seinera’s favorite sport. The 15-year-old Hebron High School freshman has loved it since he started T-ball as a young boy. And he’s made a lot of friends playing with different teams over the years. He’s bringing his love of the game and his connections together to raise money to help fight pediatric leukemia with the Strike Out Pediatric Leukemia Charity Baseball Game, to be held at the Riders Field on Sunday, May 22, benefiting Leukemia Texas.
Tickets are $25 each and include admission for the 4:05 p.m. Frisco RoughRiders game against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, followed by the charity baseball game at approximately 7:05 p.m. Each ticket purchased will also sponsor a Buddy the Bear stuffed toy for a leukemia patient in a local hospital. Tickets can be purchased at leukemiatexas.org/special-events/.
“Amelia spent seven months in the hospital,” explained Mike Dammen, Amelia’s father. “She had a bone marrow transplant six months ago. At her last checkup, tests showed 99-percent of her cells were the donor’s cells, which is very positive. We are excited to be a part of this event as we love the game. I’m happy to be coaching Amelia’s second grade softball team.”
