On July 18-19, join Rise Against Hunger’s incredible community of Hunger Champions for a family-friendly packathon hosted by Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church and brought to you by Title Sponsor Marty B’s. Through an assembly-line process with steps appropriate for both children and adults, volunteers will combine rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a packet of vitamins and minerals into 285,000+ meals — enough to fill a shipping container! The meals will be shipped by Rise Against Hunger to meet the urgent nutritional needs of people facing hunger in countries worldwide.
