This Memorial Day weekend, grab your lawn chair and head to Downtown Arlington for three days of FREE live music at Levitt Pavilion! On deck for Friday night: Popular DFW entertainer Michael Hix headlines a concert opened by the winners of the 2021 Start The Journey teen music competition. On Saturday, kick back for an evening of country and alt-country/rock music with opening act Palmer Anthony and headliner Cody Canada & The Departed, noted for their chart-topping “Hippielovepunk” 2015 album. On Sunday, get ready to get on your feet and dance, because none other than five-time Grammy winners and legendary Tejano artists Little Joe Y La Familia are taking the stage, following an opening performance by up-and-coming Tejano band Grupo Pression. All shows begin at 7:30; early arrival is HIGHLY recommended, especially for the Sunday night Tejano show. Pack your picnic basket, avail yourself of food truck fare on site, or make plans to come early/stay late, and enjoy a bite at one of Downtown Arlington’s nearby eateries or watering holes.
