Fourth Annual UNICEF Dallas Celebration

What: The North Texas Regional Office of UNICEF USA will host the fourth annual UNICEF Dallas Celebration on Earth Day, April 22, 2022. Funds raised at the event will support UNICEF’s mission to relentlessly pursue a more equitable world for every child.
The evening will honor Founder and Chief Executive Officer of United to Learn, Abigail Williams with the Spirit of Compassion Award. Williams will be honored for her work supporting youth empowerment, children’s rights and equity in education, which have all had a significant impact on the Dallas community for the last decade. Immediately following the event there will be an after party where Poizon Ivy The DJ will perform.
Modeling UNICEF’s emphasis on vaccinations to help end the pandemic, and in order to protect the safety of our guests, staff, and vendors, the following safety protocols are required: all attendees will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event. In addition, our event will follow CDC and venue guidelines.
Why: UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories around the world and has saved more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. UNICEF is working day in and day out to ensure equitable vaccine distribution worldwide and help build the world back better than it was before for children with a focus on education, mental health, vaccines, and elevating their voices. UNICEF won’t stop until every child has come back from COVID-19 and can achieve the kind of future they deserve.
