United Way of Tarrant County and the Texas A&M Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic will host Choosing a Tax Professional—a free, educational webinar providing tips for the upcoming tax season—Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. via Zoom and Facebook Live.

Tax experts will present warning signs to prevent fraudulent scams and how to choose a professional tax preparer to meet individual needs. Attendees will also receive information on free tax prep services including United Way of Tarrant County’s free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
