The Dallas Foundation is receiving applications for the Pegasus Prize now through September 20, 2024.
This $50,000 social innovation grant is awarded to nonprofits, for-profit organizations with a charitable purpose, and hybrid organizations applying with innovative approaches to addressing community needs.
The Prize rewards organizations applying new ways to solve ongoing problems that are faster, cost-effective, data-driven and lead to better results for the residents of Dallas County.
Receipt of the grant signals both a financial investment in the organization, as well as an endorsement of the importance of its work by the Dallas Foundation, which elevates the visibility of the awardee and thereby allows for additional community investments.
Funding will be considered for the testing of new ideas, as well as innovations that are in the process of showing signs of effectiveness and have the potential for growth and/or greater results.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 19. Applications will be reviewed by the Pegasus Prize Committee and the top 10 applicants will be invited to present in a pitch event. The top 10 applicants will be notified in mid- to late-October. The Prize winner will be announced in mid-November.
Applications are accepted online.
