Dallas Black Dance Theatre to host Farewell Founder’s Luncheon Jan. 17

Dallas Black Dance Theatre will host its 2018 Farewell Founder’s Luncheon on January 17 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas at noon. Clarice Tinsley will serve as the 2018 luncheon emcee.

Event proceeds will benefit the nonprofit’s education and outreach programs, which include dance classes, workshops, and lecture demonstrations to over 20,000 K-12 students from Dallas ISC and other metroplex private and home schools, the organization’s website specified.

This year’s honorary chairs are Lucy Billingsley and Doug Curtis. General Chairs are the Rev. Lelious Johnson and Kimberley Runnels.

An announcement on the organization’s website stated that “the 2018 Farewell Founder’s Luncheon brings together a community that shares the vision and passion of Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s Founder, Ann M. Williams.”

Andy McCarthy, Herdercine Nash and Linda Todd are listed as the 2018 Honorees.
