Dallas Business Journal reported that Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity has named David J. Crawford its new CEO after a nation-wide search.

Crawford was then recruited to CEO of Service America Enterprise, one of Florida’s largest residential/commercial HVAC, appliance and plumbing companies. In 2016, he came to Dallas to be the President of Miner National Service, a facility services company.

Crawford has served on several nonprofit boards including the Memphis Habitat for Humanity from 2009 to 2013 and the Memphis Orpheum Theatre.

Anne C. Haskel, board chair and selection committee chair with the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, told the Dallas Business Journal: “We are thrilled to have Dave leading the Habitat team. He will bring a fresh perspective to the organization opening opportunities for us to be able to serve more families and create innovative solutions for prospective homeowners who are seeking decent and affordable housing.”
