Camp Fire First Texas Welcomes New Vice President of Development

Camp Fire First Texas, located in Fort Worth, has appointed Ms. Julia Summers as the Council’s new vice president of development. Ms. Summers will be responsible for annual giving, special events, planned giving as well as corporate and foundation gifts.

Ms. Summers previously worked with CASA of Tarrant County and Alliance for Children. She has also served as a Camp Fire board member, volunteer and in a staff role.

“I love helping individuals and teams achieve goals and live to their full potential. I am very fortunate that I get to work every day with people who want the best of what life has to offer children and youth in our community and to work diligently to give youth opportunities to understand their worth and grow into contributing members of society while learning and having fun,” Summers shared.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, Social Rehabilitation Services from Stephen F. Austin State University. Ms. Summers is a current member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
