Funding Opportunities

Amon G. Carter Foundation accepts funding proposals

The Foundation was established in 1945 by Amon G. Carter and Nenetta Burton Carter.

The Amon G. Carter Foundation is receiving grant applications for nonprofit programs that serve Tarrant County.

The Foundation’s primary fields of interest include arts, education, health and medical services, as well as human and social services. Programs benefiting youth and elderly individuals, as well as civic and community endeavors are also prioritized. Grants typically range from $2,500 to $35,000.

Applications are received by the Foundation on an ongoing basis. Its Board of Directors meets three times annually to consider grant requests, typically in February, May and November. The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 15.

There is no standard application form for the Foundation. Proposals must be submitted via mail with appropriate supporting materials. The address is available online.
