Alliance For Children Introduces New Director of Finance

Alliance For Children announced in a release that it has added a new position of Director of Finance to its team. The organization has hired Elaina Blount in this role. With this newly created position, Blount lends her knowledge and expertise to the agency. She is an Accounting and Finance professional with over 25 years of experience, and has built a reputation for embracing the core values of integrity, innovation, and growth to achieve business strategies. Blount’s career spans a wealth of industries including gaming, community health, corporate, nonprofit, and most recently higher education where she served as Assistant Controller for the University of North Texas Dallas under the UNT System of Administration for the past six years.

“We are thrilled to have Ms. Blount join Alliance For Children’s leadership team. We highly value the expertise she is bringing to our agency,” said Julie Evans, Alliance For Children’s Executive Director, in the release.

Blount received her B.S. in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from University of Southern Mississippi and holds a dual MBA in Finance and Human Resource Management from Walden University. She currently resides in Mansfield with her husband Roscoe, daughters Raegan and Logan, and dog Harry.

ABOUT ALLIANCE FOR CHILDREN

Alliance For Children is the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Tarrant County and one of the first Children’s Advocacy Center programs established in Texas. It is a multidisciplinary coalition of experts who work side-by-side to efficiently and collaboratively bring justice and healing to children and families affected by child sexual abuse, severe and life-threatening child physical abuse, child fatalities and child witnesses to violent crime. Alliance For Children partners with 24 local law enforcement agencies, Cook Children’s Medical Center, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Its mission is to protect Tarrant County children from child abuse through teamed investigations, healing services and community education. It operates child-friendly centers in Arlington, Fort Worth, Hurst and Lakeside. Since its inception in 1992, Alliance For Children has served more than 53,000 children and their protective caregivers.
