Alliance For Children Development Director to Step Down

Fort Worth-based Alliance For Children announced recently that Julia Summers, Development Director, would be stepping down from her role in May of this year. She will continue to assist fundraising efforts at the organization through grant writing and special projects. In her new role with Alliance For Children, she will be able to focus on spending time with her family including her new grandchild.

Summers joined Alliance For Children as the Director of Development in May of 2013. She spearheaded the development department, taking on the role of the first Director of Development within the agency.

Julie Evans, Executive Director of Alliance For Children, said in a press release: “Julia Summers has been an amazing leader and a strong support not only to me but to each of our Directors. Over her five years with us, Julia has helped lead the development department into an effective and impactful unit.”

Alliance For Children is beginning the search for a new Development Director to lead its fundraising operations.
