NEA Research Grants in the Arts

  • Award range: up to $100,000
  • Eligible applicants: Nonprofits, institutions of higher education, independent school districts, and city, county, tribal, and state governments.
  • Summary: Funding will support producing research, statistics, and general information about the arts for the benefit of the arts sector and beyond.

Pay-for-Performance (PfP) Incentive Payments Program

  • Expected number of awards: 5
  • Award range: $10 million to $40 million
  • Cost sharing required? No
  • Due date: April 3, 2026
  • Eligible Applicants: Non profits, state governments, small businesses, for-profit organizations, institutions of higher education.
  • Full description: The Pay-for-Performance Incentive Payments Program will focus on incentivizing the expansion and growth of the National Apprenticeship System, specifically in industries with a firmly established program infrastructure that will make a significant contribution to the Administration’s goal of exceeding 1 million active apprentices. The designated industries are Shipbuilding and Defense Industrial Base; Artificial Intelligence (AI), Semiconductor, and Nuclear Energy Infrastructure; Information Technology; Healthcare; Transportation; and Telecommunication.
