The 48th annual Chi Omega Christmas Market, held September 24-27, 2025, at Dallas Market Hall, welcomed more than 10,000 shoppers and 245 merchants and proved to be a tremendous success. As a result, the Dallas-area Chi Omega Alumnae was able to distribute a record-breaking $582,200 in critical funding to nine local beneficiaries including: Beacon Hill, Broadway Dallas, Community Partners of Dallas, Connecting Point of Park Cities, Make-A-Wish North Texas, New Friends New Life, Sleep in Heavenly Peace TX – Dallas/Ft Worth, SPCA of Texas, and The Magdalen House. Additionally, funds raised support collegiate scholarships.
“The Chi Omega Christmas Market is truly a labor of love, and witnessing the strong impact it has on our community is incredibly meaningful,” said Debbie Lang, 2024 and 2025 Chi Omega Christmas Market Co-chair. “The generosity of our shoppers, merchants, sponsors, and volunteers is what makes this event so special year after year.”
The announcement was made by 2025 Chi Omega Christmas Market Co-Chairs Karen Hunt, Debbie Lang, and Nancy Woodall on January 13, 2026, as Dallas-area Chi Omega Alumnae and beneficiary representatives gathered for a check presentation celebration at the SPCA of Texas headquarters.
“We could not be more proud of this achievement and are thrilled to grant these funds to our incredibly deserving non-profits. With these funds, we were able to fulfill the grant requests of each 2025 beneficiary. We are so grateful to the community, volunteers, patrons and sponsors for helping us exceed our originally pledged goal,” said Sarah Staats, Dallas Chi Omega Alumnae president.
