King Foundation streamlines application for funding

Written by DFW501c Reporter

Shaped by listening and proximity the King Foundation is making several shifts in its application process for 2026. One of the biggest: they’re eliminating Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) — a step that often added delay instead of clarity. Removing it helps them get resources out the door faster and reduces unnecessary friction for nonprofits.

• No more Letters of Inquiry (LOIs)
• Updated geographic focus
• A December 10 webinar walking through the new application (opening January 7, 2026). Register at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_d-oTy_uNTNe9kWMYdUskew#/registration.
