The Met Winds concert on Nov 23rd will center on the theme of “Viva Italia!”. We’ll allow the audience to step into the heart of Italy through the vibrant and expressive voice of Italian themed music for wind ensemble. “Viva Italia!” takes the listener on a musical journey from the sunlit streets of Rome to the dramatic mountain peaks of the Alps, from the splendor of bold, familiar pieces to modern works of Italian heritage that have shaped contemporary concert music.
